With five State Of Origin representatives unavailable to line-up against the Raiders on Sunday, there was one member of the first grade squad unavailable to step up in their absence.

Jayden Nikorima sustained a hamstring injury in the Wyong Roos draw against the Bulldogs in the NSW Intrust Super Premiership that will result in a stint on the sideline.

He is expected to miss up to six weeks of action and will be fighting hard through his recovery.

There were plenty of bumps and bruises following a physical clash against the Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon, but it appears that all members of the Roosters squad that took to the field made it through unscathed.

Ryan Matterson made a successful return from injury in Round 12 and will line-up again this week in the second row.

Isaac Liu and Zane Tetevano are set to return to the field this week following foot and knee injuries respectively.
