After a successful hearing at tonight's NRL Judiciary, Zane Tetevano has had his Reckless High Tackle charge downgraded in a plea to make an appearance for the Sydney Roosters during the 2017 NRL Finals Series.

A Guilty Plea was entered on the basis of a high tackle, however the Club elected to dispute the offence that Tetevano was initially cited for.

The Club believed there was a case to have the Reckless High Tackle charged as the lesser grading of a Careless High Tackle, and with sufficient evidence were able to do so.

The charge holds 150 points, which will see him miss one NRL match and hold 50 carry-over points.

Tetevano will now be available for selection after this weekend's match against the Brisbane Broncos.
