Now that the rugby league season has officially concluded, the Sydney Roosters squad members that took part in the Rugby League World Cup begin their break leading into Christmas.
After careful assessment by the Club Medical Staff, we are pleased to confirm that no Roosters that took part in the Rugby League World Cup have any injury concerns to come from the tournament.
As planned before the start of the tournament, Captain Boyd Cordner and Vice Captain Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will undergo stem cell therapy due to their respective knee injuries.
They are expected to return to full contact training by the middle of January.
There are no other injury concerns within the first grade squad after the third week of pre-season.
