Season Review | James Tedesco

In an NRL season that offers many awards and accolades, new recruit James Tedesco claimed as many as he could in an outstanding debut year for the Sydney Roosters.

Tedesco clicked up a gear midway through the season and was recharged by an outstanding showing for the New South Wales Blues in the 2018 winning State Of Origin series.

He returned to the Roosters in what was arguably career best form and was awarded the Brad Fittler Award for best on field for the Blues.

At the end of the season, he was awarded the Sydney Roosters Jack Gibson Medal as reward for his impressive 2018 campaign.

He was named in the Kangaroos squad for the first time in his career for the two tests played in New Zealand in the post season.

After an impressive couple of performances against both the Kiwis and Tonga, he was shortlisted for the Golden Boot Award and was given the Man Of The Match for a strong showing against Tonga.
