Injury Report | Round 7

The Sydney Roosters squad have been assessed following our Round 7 match against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Scans have confirmed that Captain Jake Friend sustained a ruptured bicep in the match.

He will see a surgeon over the weekend to determine whether or not surgery will be required and a timetable for his return will be determined at a later date.

Matt Ikuvalu sustained minor ligament damage in his knee during the match, though the injury is not considered serious.

Angus Crichton received four stitches above his nose after sustaining heavy contact late in the second half.

The remainder of the squad will be available for selection ahead of our Round 8 clash with the Wests Tigers at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
