The Sydney Roosters are delighted to announce that the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest has recently surpassed the incredible four-million-dollar mark.
Established in 2010, the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest sees Roosters major partner Steggles donate $1,000 for every point the Roosters defeat the opposition by, with the Roosters also contributing $250 per point.
The Roosters’ results over the last fortnight have seen the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest exceed the $4 million mark, taking the total amount raised to a staggering $4,069,638.
The nominated charities supported by the Charity Nest include Lifestart, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Children’s Cancer Institute Australia and the Roosters Outreach program.
“Our partnership with Steggles is something we are incredibly proud of, and it is a wonderful achievement for the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest to have surpassed the $4 million mark since it was launched in 2010,” said Roosters COO Jarrod Johnstone.
Steggles Head of Marketing, Yash Gandhi, added: “This milestone is a true testament to the efforts of the players on field, coaching staff and the entire management of the club which has enabled us to help our nominated Australian Children’s Charities. We look forward to this figure continuing to grow.”
