It's an exciting time for easts Bondi Junction - the official home of the Sydney Roosters - having undergone a major development with the final stage opening this Thursday 6 May, and after sixteen weeks of construction, Members now have access to all areas of the newly renovated venue!
On 23 March, easts launched Stage 1, revealing the new look Spring Street reception, Olive & Oak contemporary dining and all-day bar, boutique sports bar Artie’s, and the multi-purpose Bondi Room, while the Upper Ground Floor area will open to Members for the first time, completing the development.
easts has always been the home of the Sydney Roosters, and the refurbishment of the Bondi Room and development of Artie’s - named after Roosters legend Arthur Beetson - provides the perfect ‘official’ space for Roosters Members and supporters to get together to watch the games live and loud on the big screens.
There are fantastic plans for Roosters Members and fans in the coming months including:
- Complimentary buses running between easts and the SCG before and after ALL home games;
- Live ‘Roosters Radio’ pre-game entertainment including interviews with current and former Sydney Roosters players, scheduled for Round 14 v Titans and Round 18 v Cowboys;
- NRL Player Post Match following our Round 19 and Round 21 home games against the Knights and Panthers respectively;
- Live music at half time and full-time for selected Sydney Roosters matches
Members and supporters are encouraged to head to easts this Friday night to check out the completed venue before catching the blockbuster NRL match between the Eels and our Roosters. Club Legend Russell Fairfax will be joined by past players for a chat ahead of the game, with the live music of Kieran Smith at half-time and full-time.
