Best Moments of 2021: Young Guns Shine on Central Coast

Season 2021 will certainly live long in the memories of the Roosters faithful with so many moments that stood out in what was truly a unique year in Club history.

We've gone through the memory bank and selected ten of the best moments from the year in chronological order. 

A number of youngsters shone on the Central Coast in Round 12 in an unforgettable win during the NRL's Indigenous Round.

Round 12 Match Highlights: Roosters v Raiders

Following a tough loss at home, the Sydney Roosters rallied on the Central Coast in Indigenous Round with a dominant 44-16 win over the Canberra Raiders.

Recovering from a 10-nil deficit after half an hour, the young guns stood up. Centre Joseph Suaalii - in just his second NRL match - took advantage of a towering kick to score his maiden try in first grade to get the side back on track.

Just two minutes later Lachlan Lam scored his own maiden try in the top grade, with the Roosters going into the break with a 16-10 lead thanks to a Sitili Tupouniua four-pointer.

Post Match with the Butcher Bros

Joseph Manu took the reigns in the second half with two equally impressive tries, with Josh Morris joining him on the scoresheet and Tupouniua bagging his double as bullocking forward Egan Butcher made his NRL debut in memorable fashion alongside brother Nat.

Easts ran away with an eight-try performance, highlighted by Central Coast local Adam Keighran converting twelve points with the boot in what was certainly one of the best moments of the year.
