The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce our line-up for the Round 9 match against the New Zealand Warriors on Sunday afternoon.

Playing in Auckland for the first time since 2018, the Roosters will look to string together consecutive wins after defeating the St. George Illawarra Dragons on Anzac Day at Allianz Stadium.

With gates opening at 1:15pm New Zealand time (11:15am AEST), rugby league fans will be treated to a double-header as the Roosters NSW Cup team take on the Warriors at 1:30pm (11:30am AEST) before the NRL kicks off at 4:00pm (2:00pm AEST).

Anzac Day Match Highlights: Roosters vs Dragons

Roosters coach Trent Robinson has named two changes to his side for Round 9, with Corey Allan and Nat Butcher called into the starting line-up.

Allan replaces Daniel Tupou who suffered a hamstring injury in Round 8, while Butcher returns to the team after being made unavailable for selection last week. His inclusion sees Angus Crichton shuffle to the interchange bench with Naufahu Whyte moving onto the extended bench.

James Tedesco will lead from fullback again this week, with Allan and Jaxson Paulo on the wings. Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii and Paul Momirovski make up the centre pairing, rounding out the back line.

Joseph Manu and Luke Keary continue to forge their partnership in the halves, while Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Brandon Smith and Lindsay Collins will start in the front row.

Egan Butcher welcomes his brother Nat back to the second row, as Victor Radley completes the starting line-up in the number 13 jersey.

The interchange bench features Drew Hutchison, Angus Crichton, Sitili Tupouniua and Matt Lodge. Fletcher Baker, Sam Walker, Naufahu Whyte, Jake Turpin and Nathan Brown have all been named on the extended bench.
