Pilot Medical Update: Round 9

The Sydney Roosters squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 9 clash with the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.

Brandon Smith has been cleared of serious injury and will be monitored by Club medical and rehabilitation staff in the lead up to Round 10.

An MRI has confirmed Paul Momirovski sustained a significant injury to his left shoulder during Sunday’s game. The 26-year-old will meet with a shoulder specialist in the coming days to discuss the rehabilitation process.

There were no injury concerns for any other players that featured in the match.

Meanwhile, scans have confirmed Daniel Tupou sustained a Grade 2 hamstring strain in the Roosters’ Anzac Day match against the St George Illawarra Dragons.
