Central Coast Roosters Celebrate End of Women's Season

The Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership team recently celebrated the end of their 2023 season with an awards evening. 

Head Coach John Strange presented awards for Best Back, Best Forward and Player’s Player as well as Best & Fairest and Coaches Award, recognising the dedication and hard work of his squad throughout the season.

“Our awards dinner was a great way to cap off the season, with all players, staff and sponsors in attendance,” Strange said.  

“The female pathway at the club, especially on the Central Coast, is really strong and it’s wonderful to see that a large number of our squad members have been rewarded with Roosters NRLW contracts, because I know they’ve all been working really hard.”

In 2023, the Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership side scored a total of 45 tries across 10 games, finishing the season in sixth place with 14 competition points.

The Sydney Roosters would like to congratulate all award winners and everyone involved in the Central Coast Roosters Harvey Norman Premiership side. The Club is looking forward to watching the women’s game continue to grow this year, highlighted by the upcoming NRLW season which kicks off in July.
