The Sydney Roosters squad has been assessed by Club medical staff following their Round 20 clash with the Melbourne Storm.

Scans have confirmed Naufahu Whyte sustained a grade two MCL strain during Saturday’s game.

There were no injury concerns for the remainder of players that featured in the match.

Robert Toia is expected to make his return to play this weekend after recovering from a torn ACL and broken jaw.

Sitili Tupouniua will be looking to commence rehabilitation in the coming days after having a successful surgery on a disc in his neck last week.

Connor Watson (knee), Paul Momirovski (shoulder) and Angus Crichton (knee) are continuing their respective rehabilitations under the guidance of Club medical staff.
