Senior Reps Teamlist | 20th – 21st June, 2026

Teams have been named for this weekend’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures.

NSW Cup Team (Round 16):

Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 11th on the ladder, to play the 5th placed Newtown Jets at the Sydney Football Stadium on Sunday. The match kicks off at 3.45 pm as a curtain raiser to the Roosters/Sharks NRL fixture.

With so many Roosters players involved in Wednesday’s State of Origin fixture, the final make-up of the NRL side won’t be determined until later in the week, and as such the Roosters team announced today for the NSW Cup match will be subject to changes, pending fitness checks on the Roosters Origin players.

The team continues to be without Tommy Talau, Toby Rodwell, and Rex Bassingthwaighte (NRL duty), and now Tom Rodwell (hamstring) has joined Blake Steep (knee), Reece Foley (concussion) and Ben Johnson (knee) in the casualty ward. Egan Butcher, Jake Elliott, Trey Peni and Cody Ramsay have not been named but may be late inclusions, with five starting positions awaiting confirmation.

Returning to the team, after playing NRL last week, are Junior Tupou (left centre) and Benaiah Ioelu (hooker). Ioelu replaces Jaxson Allen, who goes back to the bench, whilst Tupou replaces Will Malloy. Junior Pauga switches from right centre to replace Tom Rodwell on the wing, with one winger and one centre spot to be confirmed.

There are other changes to the pack with Kanaan Magele, Aston Warwick and Jason Rahme all dropping back to the bench, and De La Salle Va’a and Taylor Losalu returning to the starting side as props. The new starting lock has yet to be determined and that is also the case with the five eighth and half back spots (filled last week by Jake Elliott and Egan Butcher).

With Allen, Magele, Warwick and Rahme going back to the bench this week, Josiah Fesolai and Charlston Te Rore drop off the four-man bench.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 16):

Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 12th on the ladder, to play the 5th placed Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at Wentworth Park on Sunday. The match kicks off at 12.00 pm.

However, the team won’t be finalised until 10.00 am on Sunday, due to uncertainty concerning the final make-up of the Roosters NSW Cup team for their match on Sunday.

Injuries have once again sidelined many of the Jersey Flegg Cup squad with Aholoka Toia, Lachlan Dooner, Itula Seve, Lui Lee, Jackson Pennell, Jackson De Lisle, Zac Sarfati and Enzo Griffier amongst those again not named this week, whilst Carter Mareko, Darcy Smith, James Finegan and Eddy Cayless (NSW Under 19s Origin selection) will also miss this match after also being unavailable for Round 15. Further, a number of Jersey Flegg Cup eligible players (Jake Elliott, Kanaan Magele, Toby Rodwell, Reece Foley and Rex Bassingthwaighte) are being used currently in higher grades.

The team has also lost Jayden Missio (concussion) from last week’s team, whilst left centre John-Paul Donevski and 17-year-old bench forward Caleb Fesolai have not been named after playing in last Sunday’s win against the Wests Tigers.

All three replacements are to be confirmed on Sunday morning.

NSW Women’s Premiership Team (Round 2):

Coach Nathan Anderson has named his team, who currently sit 7th on the ladder, to play the 5th placed Parramatta Eels at Central Coast Regional Sporting Complex, Tuggerah on Saturday. The match kicks off at 10.00 am.

Once again, the team has limited access to members to the 30-person Roosters NRLW squad for this match, but they do get two Development Players (Mia Vaotuua and Anastasia Leatupue) into the side this week, but lose one (prop Te Raukura Leafe), who will be playing in the Roosters NRLW trial this weekend. Vaotuua and Leatupue missed Round One, as did Tyra Dymock, as they were part of the NSW Under 19s squad, who have been in camp.

Vaotuua replaces Indiana Killick at fullback, whilst Leatupue replaces Sharni Waters in the centres. Waters moves to the wing, replacing Jordan Guest.

After her impressive display in Round One, Felila Fakalelu moves from the bench to take the starting prop position filled last week by Zoe Coyne, who in turn takes Fakalelu’s bench spot, whilst Tyra Dymock has been named to start as the other prop, replacing Leafe. The final change sees the return of Aaliyah Paki from suspension on the bench, replacing Laylah Tafili.
