Roosters to Host Tarsha Gale Cup Trials

The Sydney Roosters in conjunction with the Indigenous Academy are excited to announce that we will be holding invitation-only trials for the Club’s 2024 U19s Tarsha Gale Cup team.

As the first Club in the female game to establish a pathway from Tarsha Gale to Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership to NRLW, this serves as an excellent opportunity for talented female players to showcase their skills and earn a place in an elite development squad.

The Sydney Roosters Tarsha Gale Cup team has had great success in recent years, making the Grand Final in 2021 before going on to become the first Club to win consecutive Premierships in 2022 and 2023.

Trials will be held on Sunday September 10 at Wentworth Park, Wentworth Park Rd, Glebe NSW 2037. Registration time is 11.30am with games commencing between 12.00pm and 12.30pm.

To be eligible to participate in the Sydney Roosters Tarsha Gale Season you need to be turning either 18 or 19 in 2024.

Applications close Sunday August 27, 2023. If your application is successful, you will receive an email with all relevant information by Friday September 1, 2023.

Invited players are required to bring playing shorts, socks, boots and other protective equipment e.g. mouth guards, headgear. Jerseys will be provided on the day. Players are also responsible for their own strapping if required.

The Roosters will provide further information regarding trials for the 2024 Lisa Fiaola Squad (U16s/17s girls) in the coming weeks.
