NRL Line Up for Round 25 vs Eels

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line-up for Friday night’s Round 25 clash against the Parramatta Eels at CommBank Stadium.

The two clubs will go head-to-head for the Jack Gibson Cup this week and after defeating Parramatta by eight points in Round 5, the Roosters will be determined to get their hands on the prestigious silverware after falling three points short (on points aggregate) in 2022.

Roosters Members and fans will also be treated to a double-header on Friday, with the Roosters and Eels NSW Cup teams battling it out before the NRL match kicks off at 8:00pm.

This week, the NRL, alongside all 17 NRL Telstra Premiership Clubs, will unite for Daniel Anderson across the NRL in Round 25 and the NRLW in Round 5.

Fundraising activity for the Roosters’ Head of Recruitment will continue across this weekend’s rounds in both competitions with a number of items up for auction, including match day experiences and James Tedesco’s signed jersey.

Roosters Coach Trent Robinson has made one change to the line-up following last week’s victory over the Dolphins, with Angus Crichton named to make his return off the interchange bench.

James Tedesco will Skipper the team from fullback once again, with Daniel Tupou and Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii on the wings. Artie Legacy Medallist Billy Smith takes his place in the centres alongside New Zealand International Joseph Manu to complete the back-line.

Luke Keary and Drew Hutchison continue their combination in the halves, with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Brandon Smith and Lindsay Collins named in the front row.

Siua Wong retains his place in the second row as does Nat Butcher, while Victor Radley completes the starting side in the no.13 jersey.

Following stand-out performances last week, Fletcher Baker and Terrell May will feature off the interchange again in Round 25, with Sandon Smith and Crichton also named on the bench.

Sam Walker has been named as the Tricolours’ 18th man after returning to rugby league for the North Sydney Bears over the weekend. Dylan Napa, Corey Allan, Fetalaiga Pauga and Nathan Brown round out the line-up on the extended bench.
