SENIOR REPRESENTATIVES TEAMLISTS – Saturday, 15th March, 2025

Roosters coaches have named their teams for this weekend’s clashes with Penrith at Penrith. Both teams have had changes to them.

NSW Cup Team (Round 2):

Coach Brett Morris has made a number of changes to his team for this Saturday’s clash with Penrith at Penrith.

Luckless centre Billy Smith makes a welcome return to rugby league, being named in the centres for Kyron Fekitoa, who replaces Owen Flaherty as 18th man. Prop Makahesi Makatoa (NRL duty), hooker Michael Coleman (leg injury) and lock Aston Warwick (suspension; hip drop) are out. Aholoka Toia, who made his Cup debut last weekend is the new starting prop. He is the younger brother of Roosters NRL centre Robert. NRL squad hooker Tyler Moriaty moves from the bench to replace Coleman whilst Hayden Barton also moves from the bench, to take Warwick’s lock spot.

Jersey Flegg graduate Lafi Tuinauvai, who is in his fourth season as a Rooster and Brisbane Tigers recruit Vito Tevaga, brother of Manly NRL player Jazz, are two of the three bench replacements and will both play their first Cup game of the season. A final bench replacement will be named later in the week and will wear No. 14.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 2):

Coach Dean Feeney has made a couple of changes to his side for Saturday’s clash with Penrith. Zack Visconti moves from prop to lock, forcing Jackson De Lisle back to the bench. French international centre Enzo Griffier also finds himself on the bench. James Khoo and Brooklyn Taumata drop off the bench.

The new centre and new prop have not been named as yet but with no junior representative rugby league this weekend there is a possible opportunity for promising S.G. Ball Cup players to fill those spots.
