Teams have been named for Saturday’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures. Both Roosters teams at Henson Park with the Jersey Flegg team playing the Sharks and the NSW Cup team playing the Jets.
NSW Cup Team (Round 6):
Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 3rd on the competition table, to play the 6th placed Newtown Jets at Henson Park on Saturday. The match kicks off at 3.15 pm.
With a large NRL squad contingent in Perth for the weekend, the Roosters NSW Cup team will have access to fewer NRL squad members than usual, but has also been unable to finalise the squad for Saturday.
Currently we can confirm that Cody Ramsey, Tommy Talua, Benaiah Ioelu and Blake Steep are not named having been included in the NRL squad whilst Makahesi Makatoa and Lachlan Dooner, who came off the bench in Round 4, are not included in the named team.
Owen Flaherty comes back into the team to take Ramsey’s spot at fullback, whilst Jake Elliott moves from the bench to take Ioelu’s spot at fullback. Jersey Flegg Cup hooker Jaxson Allen takes Elliott’s bench position. Max McCathie, who missed the Round 4 clash with a foot injury, and Aston Warwick join the bench, taking the spots of Makahesi Makatoa and Lachlan Dooner.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 6):
Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 11th on the competition table, to play 9th placed Cronulla-Sutherland at Henson Park on Saturday. The match kicks off at 11.15 am.
Unfortunately, Barnes has been unable to confirm a number of spots so the team will not be finalised until 10.15 am on Saturday.
What is known at this stage is that Rex Bassingthwaighte (S.G. Ball Cup duty) is out. Zac Sarfati moves from right centre to replace Bassingthwaighte at full back and John-Paul Donevski (18th man last game) replaces Sarfati in the centres. Hooker Jaxson Allen has been called up for N.S.W. Cup duty and will also miss the Jersey Flegg Cup game as a consequence.

NSW Women’s Premiership Team
The competition doesn’t commence until Saturday, 17th June. The Central Coast Roosters team, which finished 10th in 2025, will again be coached by Damian Hargreaves in 2026.
