WARD Extends Partnership With Sydney RoostersThrough To 2029, Cementing A Decade-Long Commitment To Women In Sport

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce that Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering (WARD) has extended its partnership with the Club, continuing their support of the NRLW team and female pathways programs through to 2029.

The extension marks a significant milestone. 2027 will represent 10 years of partnership between WARD and the Sydney Roosters, with the relationship dating back to the very inception of the Club's NRLW program in 2018. The new agreement will see that commitment grow to an extraordinary 12 years by 2029.

WARD, a leading, multifaceted civil and environmental engineering contractor, provides workplace opportunities designed to support women in sport, offering flexible working arrangements that allow NRLW players to balance the demands of professional football with meaningful careers off the field.

The WARD brand will remain proudly displayed on the lower back of the Sydney Roosters' NRLW playing jersey and training kit, a visible symbol of a relationship built on genuine, long-term investment in women's rugby league.

Sydney Roosters CEO Joe Kelly said “reaching the 10-year milestone for the partnership is a significant achievement”.

“WARD has stood by our NRLW program since day one in 2018, and this milestone: 10 years strong extending to 12, speaks to the depth of their commitment. They don't just support our players on the field, they invest in their futures off it.”

WARD CEO David McPadden added:

“We believe supporting women in sport means supporting players both on the field and in their careers. Watching this program develop and knowing our partnership has helped the Club and athletes grow the game, is exactly why we're proud to extend our partnership with the Sydney Roosters through to 2029."

The Sydney Roosters thank WARD for a decade of unwavering support and look forward to continuing this important partnership into the future.
