Under 20s coach Paul Green has described his sides performance last weekend as flat and has told Roosters.com.au he was disappointed with the result following their two wins in the opening two Rounds of the Holden Cup season.

The young Roosters suffered their first loss of the 2013 season, going down 40-22 to the Broncos and although the lead-up hadnt been ideal, Green wasnt making excuses and knew they would have to improve before coming up against the Eels next Monday night.

Im not sure if it was the Warriors game the week before, which was quite a physical game and involved the travel aspect, or that we didnt have a great week at training with some of the boys being crook with a bit of flu, he said.

However, there are no excuses. Our effort on the day wasnt good enough.

Asked about if he would be changing anything in the lead up to their clash with Parramatta, the former Origin halfback didnt see the need to make any drastic changes.

Not too much different in terms of what we usually do.

We need to review last week and see where we let ourselves down and continue to improve on those things and get ready for the challenge come Monday night.
