The Sydney Roosters NYC side produced their most dominant performance of the season, thrashing the Dragons 54-10 at Allianz Stadium.

Spurred on by the big occasion and determined to put in an 80 minute performance the young guns were relentless and deserved winners on the day.

The Tricolours halves combination of Tyler Cornish and Samisoni Langi were unstoppable on the day whilst the forwards ensured the vast majority of the action was played deep in Dragons territory.

Brendan Elliot kicked off the scoring, cleverly timing his run as he caught a Samisoni Langi bomb in the 4th minute.

A great team effort led to Langi falling meters short of the try line, allowing John Asiata to power over on the next play as the Dragons defence failed to recoup in time.

Langi converted to stretch the lead to ten.

A series of errors from the Dragons then gifted the Tricolours possession and Alex Thomas took full advantage working his way over the line from dummy half to extend the lead to sixteen after just 13 minutes.

Last years junior reps player of the year Taane Milne then gave us a glimpse of what we can expect in the future, stepping outside his rival centre then palming off two defenders to score in the corner.

A clever grubber behind the Dragons defence from halfback Tyler Cornish, set up a well finished try from Jack Goodsell to extend the lead.

It was all Cornish again just three minutes from the break, the halfback regained his own grubber before flicking the ball out to captain Rhyse Martin to stroll over the line to send the Tricolours in to the sheds by an impressive 32 points.

The Tricolours continued the rout in the second half with tries to Samisoni Langi and a hard working double to Jack Noble rounded out the massive victory.

A couple of deserved consolation tries to the Dragons saw the game finish 54-10.
