The Sydney Roosters have secured the services of winger Jonathon Reuben for two years, commencing in 2014.

Reuben, 20, will join the Roosters from the Canberra Raiders NYC Squad, where he has scored a plethora of tries over the last two seasons.

Roosters recruitment manager Peter OSullivan believes Reuben will be a valuable asset for the Roosters moving forward.

Jonathon has blinding speed and has been blessed with a natural try-scoring ability which is invaluable in the modern game. He still has some work to do on his game but will add some great depth to our outside backs. We are looking forward to watching him develop as part of our NRL squad over the coming seasons.

Reuben was named in the NRLs 2013 Holden Cup Team of the Year last month. Away from the field, Reuben is a Teachers Assistant and is undertaking an Indigenous Traineeship with the Department of Education and Training.

Reuben will officially join the Roosters when the clubs 2014 NRL pre-season commences later this year.
