Trent Robinson has named his side for this week's clash with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Brookvale Oval on Friday night, with the Head Coach welcoming back one representative star from injury as he loses another in NSW Blues centre Michael Jennings.

Jennings was last Friday ruled out for six weeks after sustaining a tendon tear of the left lat dorsi in last Wednesday's Origin Series win over the Maroons at ANZ Stadium.

However, as one door closes another opens, and Robinson will this Friday welcome back Australian and NSW backrower Boyd Cordner for the first time since the Vice-Captain was injured in our Round 10 loss to the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.

Cordner has been named as one of five on an extended bench alongside fellow Internationals Dylan Napa, Isaac Liu, Remi Casty and the legendary Heath L'Estrange.

Daniel Tupou and Aidan Guerra will also return to the side after appearing alongside Jennings in last Wednesday's Origin fixture.

And, Roosters TV catches up with Assistant Coach Craig Fitzgibbon in this week's sportsbet.com.au Team Announcement to chat through the side named - including the return of an International - the loss of Michael Jennings, how the boys spent the BYE Week and the challenge ahead this Friday night at Brookvale Oval.
