Trent Robinson has had the luxury of naming NSW Blues star Daniel Tupou for his first NRL match since Game III of this year's State of Origin Series after the Medical Staff cleared the high-flyer at yesterday's Captain's Run.

Tupou has spent the past six weeks on the sidelines with a lat injury suffered in the Suncorp Stadium Origin finale, the same injury that kept his left-edge partner Michael Jennings out following Game II.

Tupou will line-up on the left wing, the position he made his own in 2013, in a huge boost to the side in tonight's must-win clash with the Wests Tigers.

Tupou will replace Nene Macdonald, who featured earlier this evening in the Holden Cup clash.

In the only other change, Dylan Napa will start and Sam Moa shifts to the bench.
