The Sydney Roosters have been saddened to hear of the passing of former player, Gary Torrens.
Player number 575, Mr Torrens played for the Newtown Jets from 1964 to 1966 before joining Eastern Suburbs in 1967, where he was coached by Jack Gibson and played four games on the wing.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 2 in Perth, where Mr Torrens lived with his family.
The Sydney Roosters extend their condolences to the Torrens family at this sad time.
