The Sydney Roosters have been saddened to hear of the passing of former player Ken Stonestreet, following a battle with cancer.

Player number 536, Mr Stonestreet played for the Eastern Suburbs from 1963 to 1966, making 17 appearances at hooker across this time. He then joined the Western Suburbs where he played 122 games from 1967 to 1972.

Mr Stonestreet represented NSW on one occasion in 1969, in a match where the veteran hooker scored a try.

The Sydney Roosters extend their condolences to the Stonestreet family at this sad time.
