With game day fast approaching for the Roosters, we look at the final thoughts from some key Roosters who are hard at work preparing for the Brisbane Broncos.
It's always a classic clash when the Roosters and Broncos go head-to-head, with the last three clashes decided by less than 10 points.
The Broncos got the better of the Roosters in Golden Point earlier in the year, and they'll now look to level the score this weekend.
Boyd Cordner spoke about the Broncos side, knowing full well how important this test really is.
“We’re coming up against a pretty classy Broncos side so it’s going to be a good test to see where we’re at,” he said.
“We’ve been working really hard at training and hopefully we can put in an 80 minute performance against the Broncos,” he added.
Head Coach Trent Robinson is also excited for the clash, but well aware of the danger that the Broncos Possess.
“It should be a great game, they’ve been playing very good footy this year, been leading the way obviously being on top of the competition so we’re excited about playing the Broncos.
“We had a golden point clash up there last time so I’d say it will be a pretty big clash again on Saturday night. I think the players are looking forward to it," he said.
Boyd Cordner and Trent Robinson have called on the fans to get down to the game for what is bound to be one hell of a game.
“Playing in front of a big crowd is something all the boys really enjoy so hopefully we can get all the Roosters Members and supporters coming along to support us on Saturday night,” said Cordner.
“We urge all Roosters Members and supporters to head out and support us, it really does make a difference.”
A big clash awaits! Make sure you get down to the game Roosters fans.
