James Maloney spoke to the media this morning ahead of the Roosters Round 25 clash with the Sea Eagles this Friday night at Brookvale Oval.

He spoke about his injured teammates, whether Jackson Hastings is up to this upcoming challenge and the responsibility he'll have to take on being the senior half.

"Being a senior bloke out there, I've probably got to take a lot responsibility for what goes on," he said.

"I just go about my game and make sure I get the job done," he added.

When asked if pressure or changes like this effects his game, and he was adament that wasn't the case.

"It's not something that effects me too much, I don't feel all the pressure that 'I've got to do this' and 'I've got to do that'," he said.

"It's something that I enjoy.

I enjoy knowing that most of the result comes down to what I'm doing."
