After missing the opening five rounds of the 2015 season, the newly appointed Captain Jake Friend didn’t take long to get back into a groove.

As per usual, he was tackling anything and everything in his way, making smart kicks out of dummy-half and providing plenty of spark at the Hooker position, which has become somewhat of a habit for the 25 year old.

With the added responsibility of Captain in season 2015 along with Mitchell Pearce, Friend was his usual self and showed no signs of negative response to leading his team around the park.

Both on and off the field, Friend is an important member of the Roosters squad.
