Brian Canavan today informed the Sydney Roosters of his resignation from his position of Chief Operating Officer – Football, having accepted a position with the Gold Coast Titans.

Brian has given over 18 years of service to the Roosters and has been an instrumental leader in the Club over that time in many key positions.

Brian said that he is resigning with a ‘heavy heart’, but felt the time was appropriate, as there are great people and programs in place at the Roosters.

“Brian has given great service to our Club, and it is very sad to see him go,” said Sydney Roosters Club Chairman, Mr Nick Politis AM.

“Brian’s experience in Rugby League is beyond reproach, and the Roosters have benefited greatly from his service to our Club for many years. We extend our sincere thanks and wish Brian and his wife Debbie all the very best,” he added.
