Sydney Roosters club Ambassador Anthony Minichiello and Roosters star Kane Evans made an appearance at Maroubra Bay public School yesterday, assisting with the Roosters Wellbeing assembly.

The assembly focused on sleep, hydration, nutrition and belonging to an audience of year 3-6 students.

The pair took part in a Q&A session to discuss how important these key things are in their lives and how they incorporate them into their everyday life to ensure they maintain a healthy lifestyle.

As rugby league players, the boys are constantly putting their bodies under enormous pressure in order to achieve their full potential.

By maintaining a healthy lifestyle, filling their bodies with nutricious food and staying hydrated, the boys ensure that they can keep up with the physical demands required to be a rugby league player.

Anthony and Kane then went on to explain the importance of having a good support system both on and off the field.

Whether it is your family, friends, co-workers, class mates or team mates, they all play a vital role in making you feel like you belong.
