It was a stop-and-start sort of season for Boyd Cordner, but it didn't stop him from making an impact and playing some of his best footy when he was on the park.

After succumbing to a pec injury over the pre-season, it wasn't until Round 8 that we got to see Boyd Cordner in action for the Roosters.

Though it was a long wait, the impact made by the second-rower was notable from the opening minutes of play.

He was called up to the State of Origin arena for Laurie Daley's Blues and was outstanding in the first game for New South Wales.

Another injury would see him sit out the following two Origin clashes, and was out for the Roosters until Round 18.

His return would prove deadly though, scoring four tries in six games with five line breaks.

He is currently in the UK for the Four Nations after playing a solid game for the Kangaroos in their Test Match against the Kiwis.
