The Sydney Roosters welcome five-eighth Luke Keary to the Club this week as he begins his first week of pre-season training to prepare for the upcoming 2017 NRL season.

After making his NRL debut in Round 12 of the 2013 season, Keary looked likely to give the starting line-up a shake up after an impressive outing off the bench for the Rabbitohs against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 20.

He looked set to start the 2014 season as the Rabbitohs starting five-eighth, but that was delayed after succumbing to a pectoral muscle injury in the NRL Auckland Nines.

His return would come in Round 17, and the Rabbitohs would go on to win the 2014 NRL Telstra Premiership with Keary at five-eighth, deafeating the Bulldogs 30-6.

Now with a new Club in 2017, Keary will look to improve his game alongside Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce and under the watchful eye of Head Coach Trent Robinson.
