Sunday Fun Day at Clovelly Nippers

It was the perfect afternoon on Sunday, with the sun shining and plenty of excitement at Clovelly Beach.

It was the Sydney Roosters and Clovelly Nippers Fun Day and more than 300 Nippers descended to the sand.

It was a different kind of day to what was expected, because there was a Sydney Roosters trio in town.

Dylan Napa, Michael Gordon and Dale Copley, Rocky The Rooster and the Roosters Girls all joined the kids on the beach for a special morning.

Dale Copley ran a pass the ball station on the sand and was a real hit with the kids.

Michael Gordon was in the beach sprints racing the kids up and down the beach and Dylan Napa had a great time running flags.

The Roosters Membership Team were also on hand to talk to families about the benefits of a Roosters Membership.

Nat Butcher make Care Pacs for the homeless at Our Big Kitchen

Sydney Roosters young-gun Nat Buthcher joined students from Moriah College yesterday at Our Big Kitchen for the wonderful Helping Hands Care Pacs program.

Nat spoke to the students about his injury and rehabilitation, the importance giving back through community work and his aspirations for the 2017 season.

Nat spent the morning volunteering his time with the students making Care Pacs (bags of essential items for the homeless)  and cards of hope and joy which he tied to the Care Pacs for delivery to the homeless at the end of day.
