The second day in Auckland for the Roosters was another day jam-packed with action, and that’s before a ball has even been kicked.

It was an early start for our Nines Captain, who was up bright and early then straight off to the Captain’s call with the other 15 club captains.

He started by signing autographs on the official Nines gear, then faced the media for a Q&A with the Club Captains.

The day kept rolling on straight into the Nines fan day, where the boys were split up into groups for a bit of fun before training.

Fun was had by all and the excitement for the two-day tournament kicked up a notch, but it was time to get serious not long after.

A quick lunch, some screening and strapping then off to training for the Captain’s Run, where the boys went through their paces to prepare for a big clash with the Cowboys for our first game of the Nines.
