The Sydney Roosters are thrilled to announce that major partner Steggles have reaffirmed their commitment to the Club by renewing their existing agreement for a further four seasons.
The renewed agreement will take the Foundation Club’s association with Steggles to 12 seasons by the end of the 2021. Consequently, Steggles will become the second-longest serving major partner in the Sydney Roosters 109-year history.
“Both Steggles and the Roosters share a proud Australian history built on similar passions, and it’s very pleasing to know that this tradition will continue in the coming years,” said Sydney Roosters Chairman, Mr. Politis AM.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Roosters for a further four years,” said Steggles Managing Director, Mr. Simon Camilleri.
“We are proud to support a club that shares our passion and strives to be the best – on the field and in its support for the local community. It’s exciting times ahead and we look forward to a great 2017 season and beyond,” added Mr. Camilleri.
Steggles first joined the Roosters in 2010 and as part of the agreement, Steggles will continue their partnership as the Club’s major partner adorning the front of the Roosters playing jersey and training shirts.
A key part of the successful arrangement between the two organisations is the Steggles Charity Nest initiative which raises funds for Australian Children’s Charities including the Children’s Cancer Institute, Lifestart and the Children’s Hospital Foundation. More than $2.5 million has been raised for the Steggles Charity Nest since the partnership commenced in 2010.
