The Roosters have bounced back from last week's heartbreaking loss to the Eels to record a comfortable 44-14 win over the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.
The Tricolours spent the first eight minutes of the match camped on their own line in defence and were rewarded for their efforts when Sean O'Sullivan sliced through to score untouched after Nick O'Meley had broken into the backfield a play earlier.
It didn't take long for Anthony Barnes's men to double their advantage when talented lock forward Victor Radley backed up a break from inside his own half to make it 12-0 after 19 minutes.
It mightn't have been pretty but the Roosters moved further in front when Kiah Cooper finished off a messy sequence to crash over in the left corner before fullback Adam Pompey did it all himself to make it 22-0 at the break.
The procession continued after the break with Nick O'Meley and Lachlan Lam touching down in back-to-back sets before Jackson Frei bullied his way over to make it 38-0 after 53 minutes.
The Bulldogs finally broke through for their first try of the afternoon when back-rower Jayden Okunbor charged down a kick, toed it through and showed just enough pace to outsprint the chasing pack to score a terrific solo try.
The blue and whites didn't have to wait long to add to their tally when winger Cameron Scott finished off a nice right-to-left shift to score in the corner.
Nat Butcher restored the Roosters' hefty advantage with a barnstorming carry close to the line before Scott crossed after the siren to complete his double.
NYC Roosters 44 (Sean O'Sullivan, Victor Radley, Kiah Cooper, Adam Pompey, Nick O'Meley, Lachlan Lam, Jackson Frei, Nat Butcher tries; Sean O'Sullivan 6 goals) defeated NYC Bulldogs 14 (Cameron Scott 2, Jayden Okunbor tries; Michael Doolan 1 goal) at ANZ Stadium. Half-time: 22-0.
