Fans were unsure what to expect from the Roosters in Round 1 of the NRL Telstra Premiership, but it didn't take long for them to show that they had plenty to offer.

A quick-fire start for the Tricolours would see a halftime deficit of 28 points after unstoppable effort took to the turf against the Gold Coast Titans their home turf.

Latrell Mitchell was outstanding in his debut at the centre position, recording his first career hat-trick and proving to be deadly all night.

Luke Keary and Michael Gordon both shined in their Club debuts, both scoring four-pointers (Keary with a double) aswell as Keary earning the fan voted Man Of The Match honours.

The Titans did well to fight back in the second half, but it was too late to mount a comeback and the win was sealed with a late try to Mitchell.
