With 2017 drawing to a close, many schools in the region are celebrating with their annual awards presentations.
Roosters Legend and Club Ambassador Anthony Minichiello has been active in the community, visiting these ceremonies and meeting with sports stars of the future.
First stop was the Bondi Public School, where Mini presented awards for swimming, cross country and athletics to age group champions.
After the presentation, Mini sat down with the School Captains to answer questions about what it takes to be a professional athlete. He touched on topics such as training routines, healthy diet habits, and what lifestyle choices need to be made for peak performance.
Mini was then a special guest at the Bondi Beach Public School assembly where he presented the junior and senior sports awards.
Mini had words of encouragement for all students and stressed the importance of a healthy lifestyle, not only for sports performance but also for academic studies.
