Two members of the Sydney Roosters first grade squad were forced from the field on Friday night during our Round 2 clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Daniel Tupou was injured while attempting a tackle in the first half and was unable to continue.

After receiving scans over the weekend, the medical staff can confirm that he sustained a torn pectoral muscle and will be unavailable for 10 to 12 weeks as a result.

Mitchell Aubusson was forced from the field in the second half after receiving a knee to the head during a tackle attempt.

He received several stitches and underwent an HIA assessment which he passed.

It is unlikely that he will miss any games.
