Injury Report | Round 15

Two members of the Sydney Roosters first grade squad were forced from the field last night during our Round 15 match against the Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium.

Dylan Napa came from the field in the first quarter of the match after sustaining an injury to his ankle.

The Club's medical staff have confirmed that he has aggravated a previous ankle injury and has sustained minor ligament damage.

Latrell Mitchell was taken from the field in a stretcher early in the second half as a precaution after injuring his neck in a tackle.

The injury is not as serious as initially thought and has been diagnosed as a ligament strain.

Should both players be selected for State Of Origin II, they will be monitored and rehabbed by their respective State medical staff leading up to the match next Sunday night.

Blake Ferguson came from the field late in the match as a precaution and has been cleared of any serious injury.

The remaining members of the NRL squad that took to the field made it through the match without concern.
