Judiciary Report | Round 15

Following the Sydney Roosters Round 15 match against the Penrith Panthers at Allianz Stadium, Joseph Manu has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.

Manu has received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact with the Head/Neck charge for an incident that occurred in the 5th minute of the match on Panthers player Tyronne Phillips.

The base penalty for the charge is 100 points.

Should the Club enter an Early Guilty Plea, Manu will receive 90 points, however with 50 carry-over points to be added to the base charge he will be unavailable for selection in the Roosters Round 16 match against the Melbourne Storm at Adelaide Oval.

If the Club elects to enter a Not Guilty Plea and are successful with their case, he will be available for selection.

The Club has until 12pm Tuesday to enter a plea.
