Following the Sydney Roosters Round 11 match against the Newcastle Knights, one member of the first grade squad has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee
Jared Waerea-Hargreaves received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact - Head/Neck charge for an incident that occurred in the 58th minute on Knights player Kalyn Ponga.
The base penalty for this charge is 100 points.
If the Club elects to enter an Early Guilty Plea, he will receive 127 points and be suspended for two matches due to the 85 carry-over points that will be added to the charge.
If a Not Guilty Plea is entered and he is successful in making his case, he will be available for selection in our Round 13 match against the Penrith Panthers.
The Club has until 12pm on Tuesday to enter a plea.
