Last Time We Met The Warriors

The Last Time We Met the New Zealand Warriors, the Sydney Roosters were celebrating Indigenous Round and James Tedesco was set for his 100th NRL game.

Last Time We Met The Warriors

While the scoreline heavily favoured the Roosters at full time, the opening stages of the game were spent on their goal-line.

The Warriors were on the attack early, and it took an alert Tricolours squad to shut down some determined attack.

Ryan Matterson was the first on the board for the Roosters on the back of a pin-point short ball from Cooper Cronk.

Joseph Manu followed not long after in the corner, while Blake Ferguson would soon be rewarded for his strong play with a barging effort on the opposite wing.

Tedesco would score the try of the game in his 100th game, while Isaac Liu would ice the victory with the final four-pointer in what was a clinical Roosters performance.
