Recovery Update | Off Season

With pre-season for the 2020 season just around the corner, members of the NRL squad have been assessed by the Club Medical Staff to determine their fitness.

RYAN HALL

Ryan Hall sustained a knee injury during the Great Britain Lion's first test match against the New Zealand Kiwis.

He will have surgery this week which will see him out for up to four months while he undergoes rehab.

The remaining representatives from the post season test matches made it through without concern.

ISAAC LIU

Isaac Liu sustained a minor knee injury in the Roosters Preliminary Final against the Melbourne Storm, though he was available to line up in the NRL Grand Final.

He received minor surgery at the conclusion of the season.

LUKE KEARY

Luke Keary was ruled out of the Australian Kangaroos squad due to an ankle issue sustained in the NRL Finals series, but is tracking well in his recovery ahead of the pre season.

MITCHELL AUBUSSON

Mitchell Aubusson was taken from the field in the early stages of the first half of the Grand Final after sustaining a moderate medial ligament injury.

He is tracking well in his recovery and has been at Roosters Headquarters working out ahead of the NRL pre season.

Liu, Keary and Aubusson have all been declared fit for a full contact pre season.
