Sydney Roosters fullback James Tedesco could add another award to the cabinet in 2019 after being named as a finalist for the ABC Sports Personality of the Year as part of the AIS Sport Performance Awards.
Tedesco joins a star-studded field of nominees including Australian tennis star Ash Barty, cricketers Steve Smith and Elyse Perry, basketballer Patty Mills, surfer Sally Fitzgibbons and snowboarding sensation Scotty James.
Tedesco has already been named the Dally M Player of the Year, Wally Lewis Medalist, Brad Fittler Medalist, RLPA Player's Champion and Jack Gibson Medalist in 2019.
