The Sydney Roosters have today confirmed the immediate release of players Poasa Faamausili and Kyle Flanagan to enable them to take up opportunities at other NRL Clubs.
24-year-old Faamausili has linked with the St George Illawarra Dragons on a two-year deal.
Faamausili progressed through the Roosters lower grades and was a member of the Club’s 2014 SG Ball and 2016 National Youth Competition Premiership-winning sides. He made his NRL debut in 2018, making 24 top grade appearances for the Club.
22-year-old Flanagan has signed a three-year deal with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
He made 20 appearances for the Roosters during the 2020 NRL season, scoring four tries and converting 91 goals.
The Roosters extend their thanks to Poasa and Kyle for their contribution to the Club, and wish them all the very best in their careers going forward.
