NRL Line Up for Round 9 vs Titans

Update: Trent Robinson has updated the team list for tomorrow's clash with the Titans, with the squad cut down to 19 players 24 hours out from kick off.

Ben Marschke, Naufahu Whyte, Kevin Naiqama, Billy Smith and Renouf Atoni come out of the side this week, leaving Daniel Suluka-Fifita remaining on the extended bench.

Lachlan Lam remains as 18th man.

The final squad will be confirmed one hour prior to kick off tomorrow evening.

The Sydney Roosters are proud to announce the line up for the Round 9 match against the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday evening at Mackay's BB Print Stadium.

The Roosters will return to Mackay after a couple of successful trips last season, which saw the Club pick up big wins over the Eels and Raiders at the venue last year.

The trip marks the Tricolours' second venture to Queensland this year, after a week-long camp that encompassed wins over the Cowboys and Broncos back in April.

Robinson has made some minor changes to the line up this week, with Daniel Tupou brought back into the side having served his one match suspension.

His return sees Kevin Naiqama shuffle back to the reserves.

Collins: "We Love Playing Up In Mackay"

Paul Momirovski is also back in the centres, with Adam Keighran ruled out of the contest.

The remainder of the team is unchanged, with James Tedesco captaining the team at fullback.

Joseph Suaalii holds his place on the wing and will line up alongside Tupou.

Momirovski and Joey Manu will again make up the centre pairing.

Sam Walker and Luke Keary will continue to line up in the No.6 and No.7 jerseys respectively.

Lindsay Collins, Sam Verrills and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves line up in the front row, while the starting side is rounded off with Angus Crichton, Sitili Tupouniua and Victor Radley in the back row.

Drew Hutchison, Fletcher Baker, Nat Butcher and Siosiua Taukeiaho make up the interchange bench, with Lachlan Lam named at 18th man.

Daniel Suluka-Fifita, Ben Marschke, Naufahu Whyte, Kevin Naiqama, Billy Smith and Renouf Atoni make up this week's extended bench.

Suaalii Soars to Grab First Points

Since 2007 the Roosters and Titans have played on 22 occasions, with the Red, White and Blue winning on 14 occasions.

The recent form has gone the way of the Roosters, with the boys from Bondi winning nine of the last ten contests, with a clash in 2016 the last time they had their colours lowered in this match up.

Since taking the reigns as Head Coach in 2013, Trent Robinson has lost to the Titans on just two occasions.

A Sam Walker field goal proved to be the difference in our last meeting, with the Roosters taking a 25-24 win in last year's Elimination Final in Townsville.
