Your 2022 Game Plan | Round 22

The Sydney Roosters will celebrate Red Rooster Members Round and Captain James Tedesco’s 200th NRL game when we take on North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday at the SCG.

To celebrate, there will be plenty of fun to be had so make sure you secure your seat at our second last game at the SCG before we return to the new Allianz Stadium.

The Roosters enjoyed a great win against the Cowboys earlier this season in Townsville, and another win against them will be the Club’s fifth consecutive win and help further consolidate our spot in the top eight.

Whether you are cheering on the Roosters at the SCG or watching the game at home, here is this week’s game plan to make the most of your game day experience:

Round 4 Highlights: Roosters vs Cowboys

NRL | Sydney Roosters vs North Queensland Cowboys

Date | Saturday, August 13

Venue | Sydney Cricket Ground

Gates open | 2pm

NRLW Squad Appearance | 2:45pm

NRL kick off | 3pm

Roosters Members and fans are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase tickets for Saturday’s family-friendly afternoon blockbuster via Ticketek. Not only do you secure your seat by purchasing early, but you will also avoid any box office queues on the day.

Tickets for our final SCG game against the Wests Tigers on Saturday, August 20, are also available through Ticketek.

There will be plenty for Members at this Saturday’s game for Red Rooster Members Round!

Thanks to Red Rooster, one lucky Member will have the opportunity to kick a goal to win a year’s supply of Red Rooster at half-time! There will also be a Red Rooster Lucky Row with prizes awarded to Members sitting in the lucky row, so make sure you are in your seat early!

At half-time, there will also be the Red Rooster Dance Spectacular!

One of the best ways to show your support is to Call Yourself a Rooster and become a Member in 2022. The Club has broken through 18,000 Members for the first time in 2022 and you can be part of this great achievement by committing to the Club as a Member.

2021 Members yet to renew are encouraged to reactivate a Membership for 2022 by the end of this week to avoid losing their Membership tenure.

You can activate a Membership online here at or by calling our friendly Membership team on 1300 327 871 (10am-4pm Monday to Friday).

Keep an eye for James Tedesco facemasks, which will be available exclusively at this week’s milestone game.

The Tedesco facemasks and Red Rooster try cards will be available from inside Gate A and E pre-game.

Make sure you are in your seats at 2;45pm as we introduce the 2022 NRLW Sydney Roosters squad!

The NRLW team will be chasing back-to-back premierships when the competition begins next weekend, with many players from the 2021 premiership-winning squad returning.

2022 NRLW Memberships are on sale, and are a great way to support our NRLW team as they look to claim back-to-back premierships.

With Moore Park light rail station within walking distance of the SCG and Allianz Stadium, public transport is the best way to get to and from Roosters home games. Make sure you plan ahead with Trip Planner to find the best way to and from Saturday’s game.

Another great way is the Easts Bondi Junction bus service, which includes access to the SCG pre-game and back to Easts post-game. Read below for more information on pre-game and post-game at Easts.

For spectators driving to the game, there will be parking available in the Entertainment Quarter, EP2 and EP3. Parking costs $30 per vehicle.

To plan your trip, visit the Live Traffic website.

Get decked out in Red, White and Blue by visiting the Roosters Shop outlets available at the SCG on Saturday.

For Roosters fans unable to get to the Roosters Shop at this week’s game, a great range is available through the online store.

The Sydney Roosters winter merchandise range is now available - so be sure to get your threads here and rug up for the remaining month of the competition before the finals heat up!

Roosters Members can show their Members card or enter the Member discount code online to get a 10% discount.

The place to be before and after Thursday’s game is Easts Bondi Junction – home of the Sydney Roosters.

Enjoy a pre-game dinner at Olive & Oak or Arties, and come back after the game to enjoy 49% off drinks in the two-hour happy hour, which starts at full-time.

The Club’s website and social media are the places to go for all the latest news and team updates throughout the day. The Club will publish the final teamlists, highlights, match reports and post-game reactions throughout the day.

Members and fans unable to attend Saturday’s game can watch the game live on Fox League (Foxtel channel 502), or stream on Kayo.
