Roosters to Host Inaugural Lisa Fiaola Cup Trials

The Sydney Roosters are delighted to announce that the Club will be hosting invitation-only trials for their inaugural Lisa Fiaola U17s Girls Team.

As the first Club in the female game to establish a pathway from Tarsha Gale to Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership to NRLW, the Lisa Fiaola Cup serves as an excellent opportunity for talented female players to join the Roosters’ system from the age of 16.

The Roosters have had great success in their female pathways - with the U19 squad becoming the first team in history to secure back-to-back Tarsha Gale Premierships in 2022 & 2023.

Trials will be held on Sunday September 24 at Matraville Sports High, Anzac Parade, Chifley NSW 2036. Registration time is 9.00am and Training/Games will commence at 9.45am.

To be eligible to participate in the Sydney Roosters Lisa Fiaola Cup season, you need to be turning either 16 or 17 in 2024.

Applications close Sunday September 17, 2023. If your application is successful, you will receive an email to accept your position in the trial with all relevant information by Wednesday September 20, 2023.

Invited players are required to bring playing shorts, socks, boots and other protective equipment e.g. mouth guards, headgear. Jerseys will be provided on the day. Players are also responsible for their own strapping if required.
