Senior Reps Teamlists | 13th – 14th June, 2026

Teams have been named for this weekend’s NSWRL senior representative rugby league fixtures, highlighted by the opening round of the NSW Women’s Premiership.

NSW Cup Team (Round 15):

Coach Brett Morris has named his team, who currently sit 6th on the competition table, to play 11th placed Western Suburbs on Sunday at Lidcombe Oval. The match kicks off at 1.00 pm.

With Blake Steep (knee), Daniel Tupou (calf) and seven Roosters NRL players on State of Origin duty, the Roosters NRL side has had to call on a number of NSW Cup players for their match against the Dolphins on Friday night. Further, the NSW Cup team is unable to call on Ben Johnson (knee), Lachlan Dooner (shoulder) or Aholoka Toia (knee) or any of the Roosters Under 19s Origin representatives.

Consequently, it is very much a new look team, searching for their first win since Round 10.

Tommy Talau, Junior Tupou, Egan Butcher, Reece Foley, Tom Rodwell, Taylor Losalu and Benaiah Ioelu are all on NRL duty, as is Rex Bassingthwaighte, who missed last week’s NSW Cup clash, although the two NRL players from the final 19 that don’t get on the field on Friday, may be late inclusions in the NSW Cup team.

Trey Peni comes into the team on the left wing to replace Tommy Talau, whilst Junior Pauga replaces Egan Butcher at right centre. If replacements are required for Junior Tupou (left centre) and Tom Rodwell (right wing) they will be announced at 12.00 pm on Sunday.

Jake Elliott returns to the side at five eighth, replacing Reece Foley, completing the backline changes.

In the forwards Taylor Losalu and Benaiah Ioelu are replaced by Josiah Fesolai from the Jersey Flegg Cup team and De La Salle Va’a. 17-year-old Jersey Flegg Cup prop Charleston Te Rore replaces Va’a on the bench, whilst Cook Islands test prop Rhys Dakin returns to the side to take the bench spot of Junior Pauga.

Will Malloy (outside back), Michael Coleman (hooker) and Julius Mitchell (prop) make up the extended bench.

Jersey Flegg Cup Team (Round 15):

Coach Anthony Barnes has named his team, who currently sit 13th on the competition table, to play the 2nd placed Wests Tigers at Lidcombe Oval on Sunday. The match kicks off at 11.00 am.

With so many players, throughout the grades, unavailable this weekend, due to commitments with the respective State of Origin teams (including Under 19s Origin), together with the injuries within each squad, the Jersey Flegg Cup squad is the hardest hit with nearly an entire team injured, playing Under 19s Origin or playing in higher grades this weekend.

Therefore, the Round 15 team will be quite different to that who travelled to Fiji for Round 14 and won’t be finalised until 10.00 am in Sunday.

From the side that played on Saturday, fullback Zac Sarfati (knee) is out, with Jackson Stewart moved from right centre to fullback. Stewart’s replacement at right centre is to be announced. Kade Maguire returns on the left wing for Dom Farrugia, whilst halves Jake Elliott and Carter Mareko are replaced by Keone Anitelea-Tsioussis and Bo Peisley.

The entire starting pack from last week are out. Josiah Fesolai (NSW Cup promotion) is replaced as starting hooker, with Liam Bell elevated from the bench as his replacement, and Kalen Cashin comes into the squad to take Bell’s bench spot. 17-year-old prop Kiwi prop Charleston Te Rore also finds himself back in the NSW Cup team for this week, with Peter Benjamin Uini, coming off the bench, as his replacement.

Under 19s forwards Itula Seve, James Finegan, Darcy Smith and Eddy Cayless are also unavailable to play this weekend. Lance Tovio (second rower) moves from the bench to the starting line-up, whilst Jayden Missio gets a recall to the team at lock. One starting prop and one starting second rower still require confirmation. 18-year-old forward Nathan Lopamaua returns on the bench, alongside Cashin and Austyn Ah Toon-Hotene, with one other to be added.

NSW Women’s Premiership Team (Round 1):

Coach Nathan Anderson has named his Central Coast Roosters team for the opening round of the competition. The Roosters, who finished 10th in 2025 face the Wests Tigers, who finished 8th in 2025, at Lidcombe Oval on Sunday. The match kicks off at 3.00 pm and is the final leg of a triple header the Roosters are playing on Sunday at Lidcombe Oval.

The 2026 squad includes nine players from the 2025 squad, four of whom are amongst the ten players from the 2026 Under 19s Roosters squad. Speedy winger Sienna Kennedy-Wilkie, who turned 17 just a few moths ago, is also part of the 2026 squad.

The 25 person NSW Women’s Premiership squad will be boosted throughout the season by members of the 30 person Roosters NRLW squad who are not required by the NRLW team. However, appearances by those squad members prior to Round 4 are expected to be limited as they continue their preparation for the Roosters NRLW season.

Coach Anderson has appointed three co-captains; Aaliyah Paki, a new forward recruit from the Knights, Sharni Waters and Tyra Dymock. Paki (suspension) and Dymock (NSW Under 19s) are unavailable for Round One. Hooker Mahlie Cashin will miss the entire season after rupturing her ACL during the Tarsha Gale Cup (Under 19s) competition earlier this year.

For Round One, Dragons recruit Indi Killick has been named at fullback with Jordan Guest and Manisha Seebeck on the wings. Majayda Darcy, who joins the Club from the Northern Hawks in the Newcastle/Maitland competition, partners captain Sharni Waters in the centres.

In the halves former Knight Aylah McCulloch will play five eighth with Meg Mcphail to play halfback.

In the front row NRLW development player Te Raukura Leafe partners Knights recruit Zoe Coyne, with Kyana Patten, another player from the Northern Hawks, named as staring hooker.

Roosters Tarsha Gale Cup second rower Jemma Wooden is paired with Mia Jones, another recruit from the Knights, whilst Luca-Bella Ngatuere-Ongley has been named as lock.

The bench comprises three Roosters Tarsha Gale Cup players (hooker Scarlett Hagan and props Felila Fakalelu and Laylah Tafili) as well as second rower Tia Cook, yet another player who joins the Roosters from the Northern Hawks.

Back rower Makenna Hamonds is the 18th player.
